I know Team Ninja is working on Nioh 2 and focusing on Dead Or Alive 6. But I do hope they have haven’t put Ninja Gaiden on the back burner just to focus on these 2 games.
Laster year we were told that NG was still on there minds but this worries me as we have seen companies taking title and go all in on them forgetting about the other for a number of years. With Capcom we have had Street Fighter but yet many are asking where is Darkstalkers, Rival School and Power Stone. Titles fans want but they were put on the back end for not hitting the right number of sales. At the same time we have there characters or skins in Capcom case appearing in other games.
I don’t want that to happen to Ninja Gaiden as yes 3 wasn’t the best but the updated version razor edged introduced a grid systems that I hope wee see in other installments as well as action you aren’t really getting anywhere else. You can argue we get in Nioh but that is basically Team Ninja version of Blood born. It is the difficulty but different gameplay styles making different.
The story telling wasn’t that bad. We needed to move from Ryu coming to a village on fire and focusing on someone trying to turn him into a weapon as well as all of his past killings is a nice change. I would love to see what they do for the next one but that is something for another time. Let me know your thoughts on this.
