Blood Blockade Battlefront there are a lot of monster. But one of the most dangerous are the blood breed. This will contain spoilers so please if you do not want to be spoiled go check out season 1 and 2 as well as support the manga official release. AGAIN SPOILERS AHEAD.
The blood breed are BBB version of vampires. They cannot be seen by instruments or detected by scanners. They can regenerate and manipulate there bodies. If someone falls to them they become there ghoul. A truly dangerous enemy indeed. yet we must ask one question Why haven’t they invaded us completely.
What I mean by that is what Leo talks about in episode 4. In episode 4 were weren’t just introduced to the blood breed but also to the frightening fact that there worst form the elder blood breed are there in massive numbers. Before Libra only thought there was 13 of them but we learn that is not the truth as the nether is full of them. So much soo that Leo describes it as a river of blood.
Leo ask how is it they have been safe for so long and it is a good question. As I listed before they are difficult to fight much less unstoppable. Even Klaus can only seal them when he has the name from Leo. Keep that in mind Leo and Sonic Monkey are basically the newest members. There are other ways since we know that Klaus and Raju have found ways to put them down. We just don’t know how since we have only seen blood breed put down through Klaus seal with the others getting away.
With them being difficult to fight and barely able to be detected then we need to ask the same question Leo did. How is we have been safe this long? I think the answer to this is a simple one. Not all Blood Breed want to destroy or kill the human race out right.
Let be clear. We have seen Blood Breed who want to take out the human race. From the blood breed who went after the hospital to Girika the one who cut lose in the subway station. But they just seemed to do because they can. It has nothing to do with a unified group trying to destroy the human race. Which means we are looking at for the most part individuals doing there own thing.
In contrast we have found Blood Breed who have found something appealing to them about us and this world. We have seen this in A No Holds Bar Eden and Baratat Mom. In the Eden episode we had a Blood Breed inside of him. Understand Klaus was right in front of this thing but couldn’t see him. There for he could have killed him and probably everyone else as Leo was the only one who could see him but Leo has no other power so without Klaus he has no chance.
In Baratat Mom KK comes face to face with a blood breed as his kid attends the same school as hers. She confronts him figuring out he controlling the robot attacking Stephan and the others. But she lets him be. Given how there bodies work I don’t know if she could have killed him.
Funny not the episode does end with kids still have communications with one another so I would like to know how that relationship goes forward.
The point here is that both Blood Breed found something they like about this world. Something that made them not want to eradicate the human race. As such this might explain why we haven’t been invaded. Basically they just don’t see us as that big a thing or something of interest so they lets us go. But that is the best I can figure on that.
