This will be the 2nd of the 3 Shadow Hearts fan fiction. This will be after Shadow Hearts Covenant good ending as such Machida said he would let Yuri have Alice. This will work as she replaces Karin. As such we will have the parties from both games with the exception of Karin making an appearance here.
If you didn’t read the first one this will be treated as DLC that takes place after the main story. This will be after the good ending. Also I do not own these characters. Shadow Hearts Covenant
Party At Saki House
It is December as snow comes down in the Inugami village. We have Yuri bring his group to the village. This includes Alice, Zhu Zhen, Halley, Margarete, Lucia, Geppeto and the Valentine brothers.
Alice: Do you have it now Yuri? He is a good person.
Yuri : So we are okay with a guy sneaking into the house so long as he leaves presents?
Zhu Zhen: For god sake boy she has explained this now five times.
Margarete: I know you are slow kiddo but this a record.
Yuri : What do you expect this is new to me.
Zhu Zhen: It is new to me too and I got the idea the first time.
Halley: Best give up Alice. Just be glad we got him to learn the Christmas carol.
Geppeto : Even that took some time.
Yuri turns to look at the puppeteer.
Yuri: You know what old man. Bite me.
Geppeto : HAHAH. That brings me back.
Geppeto nostalgia was kicking in as they neared the village. With the blizzard intensifying the group hurried with in. Saki sees her nephew leading the group with Kruando and Anastasia by his side holding his arm tightly.
Saki: You made it with the snow.
Alice : Yes Sorry we’re late.
Kurando : What is with the kart?
Kuradno points this out and sees Joachim tied to the kart with Keith pulling it.
Joachim : Can someone please untie me now.
Yuri: We should leave you out hear considering we are late because of your kleptomania.
Joachim: I am not a klepto.
Saki laughter then turns to a frown. Something everyone notices. With it they know something is up.
Saki unfortunately you will have to untie Yuri as Roger needs you all for something urgent. He is waiting for you inside.
On Saki words Roger comes out and look at Yuri
Roger: One of my friends is in trouble and we need to save from a few monsters.
Yuri : No problem. Keith come on.
Kurando : I am coming with you.
Margarete: So am I.
Yuri: The more the merry. Lets go.
The group then left but then came back to drag Joachim with them. Blanca aka snow ball ran after them. They went into the forest as Roger was leading them to the crashed sight.
Keith: Crash?
Roger: Yes he has some power and was going to come meet us in the village. But something happened and he got attacked. We saw it from Saki house. But given the creature size I figured it would be best to wait for all of you.
Yuri : Who is this guys anyway.
Roger: His name is Nicolas. He is a good person.
Kurando: You said he had power what kind ?
Before Roger can answer wild best with horns attacked the group. It didn’t take much to bring them down but it did show that Nicolas was in danger as roger points out these are smaller versions of the monster that attacked his friend. With Nicolas no where to be seen the group put Blanca nose to work. He gets the scent and leads them to reindeer.
Keith: Reindeer.
Joachim: You don’t suppose Roger is having us save Santa are you?
Keith: he could be and how did you break free,
Keith points out that Joachim is not only free but now has a statue of some kind while wearing the great question mask.
Joachim : This fight will require my heroic strength and nothing will stand in my way until he is saved.
Kurando looks at him and face goes pale.
Kurando: NOT AGAIN. Put it back. Put it back now.
Kurando ran after Joachim with giant man ignoring him as he went. Keith not sure what is happening approached Yuri who can only shake his head.
Margarete: That is one weird brother you have Keith.
Yuri: Next time I am we are chains Keith.
Keith: If I remember correctly didn’t my brother return the statue he took from the village?
Yuri : Oh he returned alright. In pieces in the middle of the night so Saki wouldn’t find out.
Roger: Hurry up you two we have not a moment to spare.
The group would encounter a large group of monsters. They did with one big arguing with a man in a red suit.
Yuri : Christmas might not be my thing but this I understand all to well.
A fight ensues with Keith, Joachim and Blanca fighting against the small monster with Yuri, Margarete and Kurando going against the big one. Keith group was going through the small ones quickly as Yuri group dealt with the bigger one. They had some difficulty until Yuri Kurando used Dark Seraphim and the Orger spirit to over power him.
Though over powered the monster would not fall. It was weakening but it kept getting back up. As for it s minnons they just kept coming as new ones would appear to replace the one that fell before it.
Monster: Fools. You can attack me all you want but will do nothing to me. On this night my power rules supreme above all. There is no one who can stop me. NO ONE.
Nicolas then walks up to the monster and gives him a gift. In that moment the monster falls silent and opens it. With the box opening the monster vanished along with the others. With the fight over Yuri and Kurando returned to normal as confused as the others.
Margarete: What just happened?
Nicolas: I gave him gift. It is the only way to seal him.
Yuri: Why didn’t you do that from the beginning?
Nicolas: I had to find the right box. It is the thought that counts. And speaking of which I have all of yours as well.
The jolly man handed out gifts to all even Yuri who found it confusing that he has to wait till morning to open it. They proceeded to the village. The group laughed and enjoyed there time as the party carried on.
Alice spoke to Saki with Margarete to learn more about Yuri family much to him and Kurando embarrassment. Joachim looks at the Christmas tree saying he hears it talking to him but is stopped by Anastasia own version of the nut cracker. Geppetto and Zhuzen sharing story of spells going wrong with Roger as Kurando and Keith talked sword play. Yuri is sitting down with Alice as Lucia, Margarete , Anastasia and Joachim ( now recovered from pain caused by the Russian princess) prepare a play. Alice decided to check up on Yuri.
Alice: Are you alright?
Yuri : Ya. Just thinking about how crazy this night has been.
Alice: Is this because you meet Santa and saw he as a good guy?
Yuri : No I am used to that. It is just still nuts how this all worked out.
Hearing what Yuri said Alice started laughing.
Yuri : Did I miss something.
Alice: That is how it goes when people get together Yuri. No matter how odd or different they are. They are friends right.
Yuri : Right friends.
Yuri nods as everyone takes there seats for the big show. Yuri is happy he was able to save Alice from the mask curse to share this moment and many more. As the night goes on so does the party until dawn when everyone begins opening there presents. Yuri sees earings with a note from Karin.
Dear Yuri
Me and your father want you to know we love you and that we wish you and Alice the best. We will always be with your.
This made Yuri happy.
