We have another what if with the King Of Fighters XV. For this we will be looking Khushnood Butt aka Marco Rodriguez. We will be discussing what Marco can offer as well as the impact on the story.
Marco appeared in Mark Of The Wolves and as with many other characters he has been requested to appear in other franchises. Most recently is KOF similar to Rock. Marco is Ryo student and as such posses the similar moves to many other of the Kyokugenryu Karate fighting style. To b honest he looked to me to be Takuma to me but it works.
Now since Mark Of The Wolves we have not see Marco but he was spotted in Art Of Fighting ending in KOF XIV. This once again hypes fans in seeing him return. But if that is the case how should he come back. I see this happening in 2 ways.
First I see him being added to the Art of fighting team. Maybe replacing Robert or Yuri. Not Ryo since he is the hero for the team. He can sub for Robert as the story of him getting injured and thus he need a replacement or Yuri is pregnant and thus Marco need to step in with Takuma to cover for both Robert Yuri. Let be honest we know they are thing so why not go all the way with it.
Or we can have him as DLC. Similar to Rock Marco can com in and shake up things as part of DLC season. Now as with other DLC for the upcoming game I hope he gets an arcade ending if they go that rout to give him some more weight then oh ya you can play with this guy since you wanted him so much. Especially if we have Rock, Tizoc and Terry there. Give some sparring with them.
As for story Marco will have to branch of off what the Art Of Fighting team is doing. I am saying this as there last ending we learned about the family barbecue and that is it. Maybe we can find out what happened to Takuma with the ending of 2003 through Marco dealing with it himself. But that is something we will have to see and find out. But those are my thoughts let me know yours below.
