The other SNK Oda was talking about Garou Mark Of The Wolves and saying so long as it is SNK it can always get into KOF. We have seen this with B Janet, Garou and Tizoc all getting in with Rock being the latest in KOF XIV DLC. But if we do see more of the characters I wonder if that will have them bring in more of Mark of the wolves with them.
Now when they joined in it was mostly sounding as thought there stories in Garou didn’t take place yet. Gato was brought in by Geese with promises to help him hunt his father. Rock is still not with Kain. And yet with Tizoc we have his own thing happen as we went from a griffon to a dinosaur in XIV. Thus it begs the question if we do get these characters in the game story we are talking about some big differences.
With Tizoc and B Janet this is not a big problem. The same can be said for Kim sons as well as Marco. The big issue here comes when you have characters such Rock and Gato. Rock in story will have to explain why he is living with Terry and not Geese much less if we proceed which matters as then he would be living with Kain and Gato in his ending would be blind.
Now that is not to say we can’t see a little of Mark of the Wolves in this game. But that it would take some doing. Maybe with KOF we will start getting a clear story line of events. Also this will hopefully reflect in there moves as that was my one downside with Rock that every time we see him it is the same move set with the exception of MI2 where he got a new raging storm.
But that is something we will have to see as more information comes out about KOF XV to see what SNK does. But that is it for me on this topic. Let me know what you think.
