I have been posting about the idea of Bloody Roar coming back. Well today we will be looking at the series hero Yugo the wolf.
As the series main Yugo is the go to the series. In the game he works to make a co existence with humans. So he is the Xavier to Gado Magneto. But from what I can understand they have only had one big confrontation and that was when he was the boss for the 2nd game. If these 2 are going to opposites I think they should be fighting a little more to show there opposite views in both ideas and combat.
Now there is another problem with Yugo story in that we don’t really see him interacting with normal people. Remember this guy s is supposed to be the one who is showing mankind and Zoanthropes can get along. So to give him a normal human to be buddy with would be good. This doesn’t have to be someone who can fight but someone we can see represent the human side of this coexisting idea.
Now there is one more thing about Yugo being the main hero. Most series have it so that the hero position rotates now to give multiple characters room not just to grow but also keep the story fresh over all. While this doesn’t have to be the case with Bloody Roar. They can basically have Yugo defeat the big bad but have it being that it has him following someone he is close to. Or they can have each arc have its own winner for the tournament. It would be up to the developer as to how that would be the case.
I think that will do for now. I know it is short but Yugo as a character doesn’t change much only the enemy in front of him. Think of it as looking at Goku from Dragon Ball only he takes his responsibility seriously. That and the fact we only got a story mode in 2 means we have fighting story to deal with. Meaning small story with just enough to give the character reason to be there. For the series return we should use these characters to expand on there world. For example Yugo as a pro boxer can show how Zoanthrope are treated by humans in fighting circle both legally and illegally. But that is something to go over with the rest of the cast.
