It seems another character was supposed to be coming to Nintendo Switch Super Smash Brother Ultimate but the company said no. According to Imran Kahn Nintendo tried to get Kingdom Hearts Sora. The thing is Disney said no. At least that is what Imran is saying.
“Yeah, no, [Nintendo] absolutely approached Disney about it once” Khan said. When asked if it was Disney who was keeping Sora from coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Khan stated, “Yes, Disney Japan specifically.” Kahn
Now why Disney and not Square Enix? Well that goes to Disney owning the IP. Meaning they get the final say. Now keep in mind this is a rumor as we don’t know if this really happened. But if I here more I will let you know.
