Seven Deadly Sins Wrath Of The Gods ep 17 Our Choices is out and we will now breakdown. As a breakdown there will be spoilers. So if you do not want to be spoiled please stop now and go see the episode online or wait until Netflix gets and begins streaming the series. AGIAN SPOILERS AHEAD.
Okay so we will begin with a recap as Meliodas has disbanded the Sin leaving his former friends left to wonder what next. But keep in mind this is Meliodas dark side talking. Basically the only thing he is thinking of is getting the cursed lifted off of Elizabeth. He is not think of sins. As Merlin explains that Meliodas emotions have been taken to Purgatory Hawk reveals that Meliodas was talking to him as though he was the demon king. Merlin thinking that the Meliodas say something in Hawk eye noticed that he say a link to Purgatory.
Now as Meliodas heads for Camelot with Elizabeth and Chandler the sins see a chance through Hawk to go to Purgatory and get his emotions back but there is one problem. Purgatory is not an easy place to handle. Merlin describes as for a better word hell. Which is only fitting since that is where the demon king is residing. But given the harsh nature it is impossible for anyone to go there and come back in once piece. Well almost anyone as we have Ban and his immortality but that still leaves his mind and that is something we will have to see If he can handle.
Now back in Camelot we have Meliodas return and his family is more than happen to receive him as only they can. In other words they just attack him but are easily taken out. This keeps happening until Meliodas makes a promise to Zeldris. We don’t know what that promise is but that is not the only thing you need to keep track of. Keep note Elizabeth is recognized by Estarossa even though they never met. Another that will become important down the road.
It is at this point we get the explanation about the commandments are basically pieces of the demon king and as such if Meliodas gets them he will become the demon king by gaining his power. Keep in mind though that Zeldris seems not to trusting with this to Estrarossa. He goes so far to warn him not to cross them.
Meanwhile the sins get ready to send Ban into Purgatory. Remember it is not a question of his body will survive as it can since nothing can kill him. But if his mind will as this place can destroy both and is meant to. But as Ban descends Elizabeth tries to make Meliodas change his mind. The one issue here is that it is the only way to remove the curse.
Elizabeth only has 3 days and they needs someone as powerful or equal to the supreme deity and Demon King. Even if that person exist they would have to convince them to help and lets face it they don’t have that kind of time. Thus as wrong as it is Meliodas plan is for better or worse the best shot they have. Now as to how well that will work out is something we will have to see.
