Sonic The Hedgehog movie released with an opening of 3 million. Not a bad start but seeing it has given fans and those who worked on the movie hope for great success. Good thing too considering the issues started with. This includes the director who seeing the numbers come sees a bright future for the blue blur.

Notice he thanks the fans. He should considering they let him now hard how they disliked the original design. But with out of the way it see good things for sonic. I hope since people notice that the movie sets up for a sequel.
