The King Of Fighter XV character list is something we have discussed many times as we cover who might make it into game from most likely to unlikely. We will be looking at Jin Chonshu and Jin Chonrei. The sub and final boss of Fatal Fury 3.
These 2 introduction to Fatal Fury in the 3rd game brought with it the scrolls as if you combine all 3 you will learn how to become immortal. And that is where we are focusing as the scrolls were introduced in KOF XIV to have spoke of Verse. If we do get these 2 into the game we can get further explanation as to how that came to be.
Now keep in mind it isn’t the boys we are interested in but the souls who possessed them. As bosses the Jin brothers were possessed by 2 ancestors trying to use the scrolls to revive themselves. They were defeated in FF3 story but depending on how SNK does this they can bring the kids in before that happened and are still under the control of there dead relatives.
The relatives might now something else about scroll talking about Verse and what it is or how it knew about. Remember Geese just says the scrolls mention Verse will come. We don’t know how that came to be. Was it because they knew it would eventual happen. Did the writer of the scrolls had a vision or did this happen before and thanks to time paradox no one else can remember. I know that flies in the face of how time paradoxes are usually handled but as with see with Ash and Elizabeth SNK shows some things can survive be written out of existence.
Or maybe the boys themselves have access to there ancestors memories can use it to find out more about it. Now as for a team we actually can make it feel Fatal Fury 3 by just adding Yamazaki to the mix. Or as one fan thought was a good idea have one of the boys fight along side Yamazaki and Freeman.
But as to whether or not that happens is something we need to see as we await to hear news on KOF XV. Those are my thoughts let me know yours.
