Shiki Ryougi is coming back to Fate/ Grand Order as part of a special event between garden of sinners and FGO. But seeing her makes me ask what if she is brought into Tsukihime Remake?
I know it sounds out of the way because Shiki only meets the Tsukihime cast in Melty Blood last game but if you think about it she would fit nicely. I say this for 2 reason. 1 Ryougi is actually one of the families that slayed demons with the Nayna clan. Shiki original family before the Tohon clan along with Kishima killed them all to get him. She is also the original reason the glass Shiki wears were made before being stolen by Aoko.
The glass would stop the person from seeing the line of mystic death perception which if cut could kill immortals for most levels except for the type beings found in Type Moon Notes. Both also share similar issue with personality disorder and that I can see as being something that can relate the 2 and give Ryougi a unique and needed part of the story. She can speak to Nayanya as well as Shiki instincts to kill those with special demonic abilities.
Think about it this way. Shiki has that one moment when he tries to understand what is happening. In that moment he hears Nayanay voice talking to him. The instincts and means to act only conflicting with Shiki who doesn’t understand what to make of this other self. What he knows is that it wants to kill and he doesn’t and for his sister and the other sake he wants to stops. Shiki wants his other self to be gone. In that moment Ryougi comes forward and ask him what is he doing both recognizing the other and Shiki Nayanay pops out and the 2 fight.
As they fight they notice they are similar. Tohono sees Ryougi is just like him. As such he has to ask how does she deal with it? Ryougi doesn’t respond to him and continues. It is because she doesn’t understand. The reason why she continues fighting him with answering his question is that she doesn’t know how. To Ryougi the perception has become something she can tolerate and control as she knew she had to. So she gives him his answer as she looks right at him death perception to death perception. I just do.
Nothing to crazy but in that exchange the fight can end with Tohno learning that he has to live with this and that he can manage to do so may give him hope to control himself and learn to try to control his other half by accept him much more. It is something to strive for and it gives Shiki hope that he can protect the people he love with what he knows he can kill those who come after them.
A good thing to learn before the fight with Roa or a nice note to end things on before the big fight. Bu tthat is up to Type Moon to figure otu. But that is how i see Ryougi adding to the story. Remember this is a remake so we will get the same story over all but with added elements. Ryougi can be one of those elements. But those are my thoughts let me know yours as we await and hope for more news on the game this year.
