Persona 5 Scramble Tops The Charts In Japan On Its First Week

Persona 5 Scramble has topped the charts in it first week. Japan release shows the sequel at more than 100,00 sold. Good news but how do we explain this against the news of it wasn’t selling well? 1 this was compared to other persona titles not chart of the week.

2nd this was as recent as February 23rd. The news from earlier is from February 20th. As such there could be a nice sized difference between reports as a lot can change in a week. As for how the game will due in the long run we will have to see.

Famitsu’s games and consoles sales estimate in Japan, February 17 – February 23, 2020:

  1. PS4 – Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers – 115,995 (New release)
  2. Switch – Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers – 46,415 (New release)
  3. Switch – Pokemon Sword, Pokemon Shield – 18,403 (3,445,788 in total)
  4. PS4 – Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story – 10,654 (New release)
  5. Switch – Ring Fit Adventure – 9,861 (696,005 in total)
  6. Switch – Minecraft – 8,687 / (1,272,585 in total)
  7. Switch – Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix – 8,468 (62,074 in total)
  8. Switch – Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 7,608 (3,569,420 in total)
  9. Switch – Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story – 7,392 (New release)
  10. Switch – Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 7,326 (2,781,277 in total)
