Karl Urban Says Judge Dredd Future Is Unknown

Karl Urban who played Judge Dredd in Dredd has given an update to the movie having a sequel. Well while he has no doubt we will see Dredd again when and how is known.

“Listen, I would love to make it, I’m on the record saying that a bunch of times. I don’t know if that’s gonna happen. I think that the guys that own the rights to Dredd, Rebellion, I think they’re developing something called ‘Mega-City One’ and it would just be great to see more Dredd, whether it’s with me or not, it doesn’t matter. I’m a fan of Dredd and there’s so many great stories there. I’d love to see them. And I have no doubt that, someday, someone will make it. It’s just a matter of time.” Karl

The reason why people are looking toward Karl is because his version of Dredd was well received by many audiences. But it didn’t so well so you can understand it being in a sort of limbo. But as one of the people who liked Karl take for the man who never takes of his helmet in mega city 1. I hope we see him return to the role or the world sooner than later.
