The King Of Fighters XV is something fans are anticipating greatly. From how it will look, how it will play to who will be in it we can’t wait to hear solid news on it. One of the people with a question mark on there head is Ash Crimson who was brought back in KOF XIV thanks to Verse.
Now we have discussed Ash before be it his impact on the story or SNK choosing to give him his own story independent from Shun story arc. But we didn’t talk about what state he would be in. Remember this is Ash who was brought back from a time paradox and as such we must take into account what that can mean.
Ash is body looks okay but his mind can be a different issue. Not only do we have to see if he has all of his memories but we also have to see if being possesses by Saki will have any long lasting effects. Or as I brought up a few times with Ash if Saki is really gone. Saki being Ash dark persona would be a nice twist compared to others in the franchise who just snap and become wild like Blood Riot Iori or Leona. Or he can be similar to heavenly kings dealing with memories from the past only his would come Saki and not there past selves.
Or we can have a senior where Ash is normal but has smaller issues where Saki power would flair up. Just imagine at time Ash just surrounded by black flames for instance. Or when Ash takes or thinks about taking someone power Saki memories and power come back but for a moment. Thus showing Saki mark but Ash will have to figure out how to use them.
But this really falls down to how SNK does Ash. At the moment we don’t know if he will be playable in KOF XV as we don’t know anyone but the returning cast is for certain which is Terry, K, Kyo, Ryo, Iori, Athena, queen and Ikari warriors teams Shun and Kim as well but the rest is unclear at this moment. True Ash was one of the most requested characters along with Rugal for DLC in XIV but we don’t know if that is a sure fire reason to bring him.
But if they do it might be DLC where he comes alone with all of his memories (hopefully his own ending) or with a team probably with Elizabeth and either Shen, Duo Long or Oswald. We will have to see what SNK has planned for the trickster flame welder. But those are my thoughts let me know yours as we await to see what KOF XV brings.
