Today we learned that Comic Market 98 maybe canceled due to the coronavirus. A step many are taking to stop the spread of the virus but the down side with this is that many including myself were looking at this event for Tsukihime Remake news.
This is due to the fact Nasu himself had said they have something Tsukihime related with the event of Golden week. Fans took that as maybe the place we would learn more about the game. IN other words we expected a trailer of some kind as well as images to go along with it. Or the images shown off at the Type Moon museum where fans said they have seen cgi scenes form Remake.
But with the event on the ropes and look like it might be canceled what will happen to the news. While we don’t know the exact nature of the event Nasu had planned Type Moon like many other companies have can stream. We have talked about this before but in sight of people saying it will never happen I figured i should reiterate.
Streaming instead of using big crowds to help sell the hype for the latest news has become everyone go to at the moment. Type Moon will be no different. The event is in May but if things change hopefully we learn by then. Hopefully as many now how finicky TM can be with Tsukihime news. But with the way the year was looking before the big virus alert rang it seemed this year was Tsukihime Remake. The year where we get some news. A Progress update that fans have been asking and itching for. Hopefully we still get even if it isn’t as grand as Nasu and the other member of Type Moon might not like. The point is to fans is we get the news. We get to see how the game looks and how it will play like. Something we have been waiting for. Hopefully that will happen but that is something we will have to see.
