Burn The Witch is getting an anime and manga. Sounds like Bleach universe in full swing right since we are getting the animation of the last arc and now this spin off. Well not so fast. If you read Tite reaction it sounds like he is not fully on board with doing this.
Basically Kubo editor is the one to thank for the one shot becoming a series as he convinced Kubo to serialize it. With Kubo sounding as though he is bring dragged on for this many don’t see this lasting too long. Don’t be so fast to say that just yet as Kubo doesn’t have to handle this like Bleach. He has to handle it the same way the creators of Naruto and Dragon Ball handle there series.
Basically if Kubo doesn’t want to direct the whole thing just have bee super visor the same way Masashi and Akira are on there projects. It makes sense considering the man has earned it. Plus given how the last arc went for him in making Bleach you can’t blame him for not wanting to jump into this fully.
But what does this mean going forward if we were to do that. Nothing more then what we are asking as we asking for the Bleach world to keep expanding. As such it is fine to have new blood work on it and Kubo making sure they don’t get too crazy. Fans want this to continue and it will be right for those who loved this to keep it going. If that sounds familiar it should as we heard for Final Fantasy VII Remake where we have a lot of new face working on the project who loved the original and are now apart of the bring it back.
But that is not the only reason. This happens in the West all the time as writers and artist are constantly given comic runs to keep them going such as Superman, Batman, Ironman and Hulk. This is what might happen. We will have to see as more information comes out but when that does come out I will let you know.
