Street Fighter V Champion Edition was recently updated for better match making as well as balance. In that balance update it seems Capcom touched up on Guile diagonal sonic boom. Something Daigo says still works but you will have to put more work into it to make the move useful.
If you are lost basically Guile 2nd v skill given to him with champion edition update is an air sonic boom that fires diagonally.
