The King Of Fighters newest arc is bring back classic villains and force thanks to Versus being used as a resurrection plot device. For groups like NEST it means we can learn more about them. And I would like to learn more about there clones. To be precise if they have other clones then those from or based around Kyo.
Now for the most part we have seen clones based on Kyo such as K whose flame links him to Kyo as Kula whose ice power has been reverse engineered from it. We only see those types of clones as well as clone Zero being the only clone by product. If we se have more time to explore Next operation we should at the very least see more of there work and see if this went far beyond the sacred treasure.
In the comics this was touched on but lightly. Since the main focus was K and Kyo respectfully we only got to see a little bit of the idea of Nest experimenting with fighters DNA or abilities. Since we are looking more into Nest we should get to see more of this idea. More of an exploration .
Now how much of that we will see is a good question. Nest was part of K story. Since we are focusing on Shun it is a good chance we want hear anymore of this. At the same time SNK brought back NEST for a reason. Besides being there equivalent to Shadowloo we will most likely see them to some higher compacity. But what that will be as we look forward to the rest of this as we await KOF XV is something I can’t myself can’t wait to see.
