Xbox Seris X Controller Takes AA

Xbox Series X Controller will still use double a batters. At least that is what people are thinking as we look forward to see what the next generation of consoles can do. But why do they think this when we are still know little about the console full specs. Well according the article is because we the player want it.

“What it comes down to is when actually talking to gamers, it’s kind of polarising and there is a strong camp that really want AAs. So just giving flexibility is the way to please both [sets of] people… You can use a rechargeable battery pack and it works just like it does on the Elite, [but] it is a separate thing”

Not really a sure fire thing hence why we should keep this as a rumor. If I hear anything that changes that I will let you know.
