This is the 3rd installment of a small series arguing why the Shonen series Bleach should get a sequel series. In the last instalment I gave my take on where they sequel should go coming up with the enemy called legionaries who were a large group that similar to Ichigo in being a mix of soul reaper, quincy and arrancares. You can check it below as I will leave a link to the previous installments. but in this one we will have to ask one question how can this be?
The Soul society has been attacked twice. Once by Aizen and once by the quincies. Both were powerful but also knowledgeable. So why didn’t they do anything with this group. If they were as powerful as them they would either have them join there side as a powerful ally or destroy them seeing the Legionaries as a threat that must be destroyed. Yet they left alone.
For this the 13 court guard squad will have to ask the only people who would know and that would be the enemy. They would ask Aizen which would be easier of the 2 to ask since he is still there prisoner. Asking him they would learn Aizen did know of them and approached them. He was turned down but left them alone as when asked them he was still a member of the 13 court and didn’t want a fight with them to complicate his plains.
Now for the quincy which we would have Uru ask. But who would he ask as they are mostly gone right? Lets remember this is Bleach and even after there big fights we now know they always leave survivors. Well lets say this is no different. But who would survive there war with the soul reapers. It would have to be Jugram. His link to the king would make him ideal to answer this question. His response would be the same as Aizen as they approached the group but were turn down for an alliance.
The response on the enemy wouldn’t believe as it is hard to see both Aizen and Yhwatch just letting this group exist if it wasn’t an alley just because they didn’t want to be discovered. But then why. Something Uru goes over with the captains as they talk and are then interrupted by Kisuke who says it is because of there leader power. And that is where we will end for now. Let me know your thoughts as we await what the animated last arc of Bleach will bring.
