Dragon Ball Super has the dragon ball warriors go against Moro who has proven to be too much with his ability to absorb ki. In order to combat this ability Goku and Vegeta have decided to train in order to see if they can defeat him. I want to talk about that as we await to see how Goku will fair as he go against Moro first.
To understand this we need to understand what has made Moro a threat. First Moro has absorbed ki from the new planet namek giving him back his incredible strength and power. He has also used the dragon balls of Namek to release all the prisoners of galactic patrol thus giving him a small army of criminals. But it is his absorbing ability that is the most dangerous. Since the Namek saga earth mightiest fighters the Saiyans have been needing to use Super Saiyan in order to combat threats coming there way. This includes god ki which allows them to turn into Super Saiyan god forms . Moro can take the ki needed for these forms away simple and thus taking Goku and Vegeta greatest weapons.
In light of this both sought training With Vegeta going to train with the people who taut Goku instant transmission while Goku found someone to help him master Ultra Instinct. With these we see 2 different approaches. Vegeta is looking to master his control over god ki more. Something we know he is further along with then Goku. This can hopefully help him develop a way to prevent his ki from being taken. Hopefully as we have not seen how this else this can help him.
Goku Ultra instinct training is to first help him to master it. Remember Goku kept getting seriously hurt in order to event gain access to this power. Something that we need to change if he is going to use hence him learning how to use it but what can it offer. Well it can offer him against someone who can still the energy he need to fight? What offers him from the beginning in that it offers him being a step ahead.
When it comes to Ultra instinct it allows you to fight perfectly by having you respond on instinct. No time wasted in thinking as you are at the peck with your senses and also gaining a high level of power with it. This would give Goku awareness to avoid Moro when he is about to absorb his ki or a head start so he can stop him before he tries. At least to a point. As we only have ultra instinct sign.
You see when Ultra Instinct was introduced it was all in the tournament of power. And we kept getting a new version of it until Goku got the perfect version against his fight with Jiren. The reason why this is an issue is because of the small fact that we don’t know what the limitation to what each form of ultra instinct can and cannot offer. Thus it makes it hard to see how much ultra instinct sign can offer.
Will ultra instinct sign be enough to give Goku the power he need to take down Moro? Or will Goku need to go all the way to ultra instinct perfect in order to take this guy down? Can he even do that? We will have to see as we await the next chapter of DBS as well as seeing what Vegeta training will offer him.
