Spicing Thigns Up With Persona 5 Cury For Quarantine

Do you need to spice thins up because quarantine is getting boring? Well trying making some videogame food such as the curry of Persona 5. Leblanc Curry is the dish and you to make it follow these steps.

Persona 5 Leblanc Curry

Ingredients:

  • Beef, cut into rough chunks (Pork can be substituted)
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Salad Oil (typically Olive or vegetable oil for cooking)
  • Red Wine
  • Bay Leaves
  • Secret Spices (based on in-game hints, it’s a mix of cumin, cardamom, clove, coriander, cinnamon, turmeric, and nutmeg)
  • Onions (chopped)
  • Carrots, finely grated
  • Apples, finely grated
  • Garlic, chopped
  • Ginger, finely grated
  • Beef broth
  • Coffee
  • Chocolate (dark)
  • Consomme (broth bullion)
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Yogurt (plain)
  • Honey

Directions

  1. Rub the meat with salt and pepper
  2. Oil a frying pan and fry the beef until lightly browned on the outside
  3. Add water, red wine, and a bay leaf, cover the pan and simmer
  4. Fry the onions until browned and caramelized
  5. Add the ginger, apples, and carrots and fry some more
  6. Add the spice mix and mix well
  7. Add in the broth, then dump in the simmered meat
  8. Add salt, coffee chocolate, consomme, Worcestershire sauce, yogurt, and honey, and mix well until it all melts into the roux
  9. Serve hot over rice
