Shadow Hearts petition update. The petition on getting an HD collection is now at 552 signatures. If you want to sign up to get Aruze Gaming and Universal Entertainment( who I understand has the rights) please do so. The idea is to get the rights to studio wild rose in order to get the series in the hands of the developer so they can developer more of them whether that be an hd collection or a new installment all together. Now as for something I have been thinking about. The petition has shown a small gather of fans but in order to get the series back on track many have tried to contact the owners of the series with minor luck. To this I have stated on here we might be able to get Sony help with others on the fan page suggesting Sony as well as Nintendo or others to give Machida and Wild Rose the backing they need to get the rights back.
And that is the idea. Along with fans ands gathering to show who would support the game we would also need other companies to show the support for Machida studio. The support might be needed to help them develop the game but with this might be able to get Universal Entertainment to lend wild rose the rights or give it to them with the exception of pachinko which the company is holding the rights for using now.
Given that is the case with some backing we can again asking them to lone the rights for a 1 game deal with hopes when the game is released it will do well enough to succeed and they will won’t to negotiate a more open deal with a line to keep the game series going. I am keeping both ideas open as for all we know Universal will want to keep the pachinko machines and thus not want to give complete rights over. So we have to keep that in mind when asking this.
Now I am also saying companies as you must understand fans have asked we got no response other than they are not interested at this time. Me being one of them with one of the fans stating this is probably just general human resources or some Q and A response. With companies that will be different. But what Companies are talking about?
We are talking about Sony or Nintendo. Sony given the fact we are talking about a series that was on the PS2 not counting Koudelka for its life. Nintendo as they might be interested seeing how people want it back and put some money in. We also have Marvelous and Xseed. Marvelous has some of the developers there so we might get help from them and Xseed was nice enough to bring From The New World Over to US so they might to help Machida out to revive the series.
Through the companies joining and word getting out through especially through the 2 biggest being Sony and Nintendo we can get the fans to find a place to congregate and rally because as I have said we are many. We just don’t how to contact each other. I mean go to twitter and see how many people are asking about the series to bring it back and how. This ranges from people asking about the rights to how to talk to about it aiming at Xseed and Machida with most not knowing Machida developed the series and has his own studio. With focus that would change and you can see the series has touched people all over the world. From Japan to here in the states to Europe and more.
I believe with that we might see the ball rolling on this how we go about that is something we will have to look into. But those are my thoughts let me know yours.
