We just had Guilty Gear Strive Closed Beta with the game coming this year. Well Eventhubs.net has posted an article saying that the game should have more time and come next year. This is based on the beta to be fair wasn’t exactly a home run for arc system works.
Connections were iffy, the UI was still not feeling like it fitted the game. The lobby was one of the most shocking things as players were surprised to fine it was in fact a leak we saw on April 1st and not a joke as we all thought it was. Still though when you got to play it was said to feel great and look great.
But it is not final product which is expected. This is a beta which means if there are going to be problems you should find them hear rather than a surprise in the final release of the game. The question that is being asked though isn’t can Arc fix this as we know they can but can they do it in the time frame. The game is set to be released in 8 months and many think that with them working from home that might not be able to make this work. Thus they might need more time and should push the game back.
I hope they can as many are looking at this game to be a great installment . But if it is pushed back we will have to ask if it will still be on PS4 as it is now or pushed to PS5? I know it is weird and they should do it considering but you never know. Hopefully Arc team red can figure this is out and make so we all like it.
