Shadow Hearts From The New World Singing The Right Song
It was a cold December day in New York. The shops had all the windows decked out for the season as the snow kept coming down. Despite the cold whether everyone had a smile on there face for the Christmas season. As the people move they can’t help but notice Johnny, Shania, and Halley as the boys dragged Frank and Joachim with them.
Halley: So that is how you save the world. Sounds like the adventure me and the others had.
Johnny: Ya Roger was saying something like that before these 2 decided to act up.
Joachim and Frank fighting themselves at the same time trying to break free of Johnny and Halley grip.
Shania: If we don’t hurry and get this done boys Alice won’t be the only angry with you.
With images of Alice, Saki, Anastasia,, Hilda and Kodelka in there heads Joachim and Frank jump up and run past Shania as they brook the boys grip.
Johnny: I guess we should just started with that.
Halley: Guess so.
Shania just smiled at there statements before realizing something.
Shania: We better catch up to them or they could wind up lost.
The group are on there way to a haunted house. Something Johnny has been hearing about as countless people have talked about. But how it got to be his case was by chance of Kodelka and Roger saying something is up on top of the fact the case brought Ricardo to New York. To many things happening to turn the other way.
The group finds the house oddly enough the city of NY seems to not like any more then the group does as there building is in the middle of a block by itself cleanly separated from the rest of the city. The 3 floor house gave a weird feeling that was only enhanced as the group approached. As they approached they then heard voices
Teacher: Again.
Kid: Can we have break.
Teacher: We can take a break when you learn a verse.
The voice disappeared as fast as they came followed by the appearance of deformed small monsters. The group easily takes them out only to see the teacher ghost dragger boy into the house. As the two spirits went into the house Johnny looks on as Frank and Joachim take point.
Shania: What ‘s wrong?
Johnny: The kid looks familiar somehow?
Shania: He didn’t look like any of the missing kids we have been getting.
Johnny: Forget it.
Halley: Hurry up you 2. Are trouble makers have found new toys.
Hearing Halley Shania and Johnny rush only guessing what Joachim and Frank have found to use as a weapon this time. Joachim has taken a grand father cloak while Frank has turned stone sword in his weapon by hilt onto it hilt. The group is left shaking there heads and then shortly continues on through the house.
As they continued through the house the group soon realized the teacher was trying to teach the kid the 12 days of Christmas. The kid kept getting stuck on the 6th. Something they put together after seeing images of the 2 through out the house. With each meeting Johnny became more convinced that he has met this kid somewhere. A feeling that was shared by Frank and Shania as they look at the red headed child trying to do his best but never getting it.
Johnny (Why does he look familiar? Maybe because I have seen someone related to him? That would be logical but at the same time there is something that says I am wrong. Something says I have met this kid somewhere.)
The last room of the house had the teacher by himself. Rubbing his temple in one hand while holding his glass in the other the ghost sits back muttering to himself.
Teacher: We are running out of time. But he isn’t getting better. What more can I do?
Johnny: What are you trying to do exactly?
Teacher: Who are you? His friends? Well he is busy now so go away.
Shania: Where is the kid now?
Teacher looked at Shania with his eyes now glowing as he broke his glasses. The aura filled the room with darkness and something else that everyone but Halley knew all to well from there travels.
Joachim: Wait a minute.
Frank: This is.
Johnny stepped forward transforming into his awaker form.
Johnny: Malice.
Shania then transformed into her Tiraw. To help the others face down the deformed teacher. The battle went on with the team making headway. As they did the kid was successfully sing the song and by the time he had got it the teacher was beaten. In his defeat though he his the kid finally get.
Teacher: He finally did it.
The teacher said he returned to normal with the kid looking on. At this moment the group sees what actually happened.
Boy: I don’t want to sing anymore.
Teacher: What are you saying. We have come this far and you want to quit.
Boy: You said it would be my choice if I finally sung it. I sung the whole song without any mistakes. YOU PROMISED.
The boy ran out the door with the teacher following after him.
Teacher: I never saw him again. I never told him I was trying to help him. I was trying to make thing better. But I pushed him away. Me the only family he had left.
As the teacher spoke the group gathered around him as he layed on the floor.
Teacher: Do you think he could ever forgive me?
Man: I wanted to ask you that.
A voice caused Johnny to spin around on the spot as he knew it very well. Thanks to his big adventure he knows it all to well. And long behold he sees Killer standing in the door way. Johnny was about to attack when Shania stopped him. She sees that he to is a ghost.
Shania: We won remember.
Johnny: Ya
Killer: When I left here I left my innocence behind as well. They called killer since then as that is what I did. I did it our fear at first. A fear that just became my response to everything. As such do you think someone like that can be forgiven?
Teacher : I guess we both need to find out.
Killer: Ya. I guess I better look for the ones and ask them about it my self. Wait for me until then will you.
Teacher: I have been waiting for you this long. What is a little more time?
The teacher then disappeared leaving Johnny and the other to deal with Killer .
Killer: Here we are again.
Frank: How are you here? You died at the gate.
Killer laughed at this.
Killer: How would I know. Maybe something here allowed me to come back. Something that called to me.
Johnny: Where is your room?
In Killer room there is a shoe box that was glowing red. Johnny opened it since he was the only one naturally protected from the malice in awaker form. He found a wooden knife. He break it and the house vanishes.
Johnny: Never knew you could sing.
Killer: I lost that too. Once I hit puberty It was gone. Which I guess I need to be heading out too. I have a lot of people too see.
Killer then left with the crew then leaving to go back to the party. The party was in full swing with everyone who we have seen in on there adventures are here. Johnny is sitting is meeting new people from Kurando and Anastasia to Gheppeto. As he makes his rounds he is hoping there are no more. No more people who have been kept on this world thanks to Killer gaining the power of Malice. As this wishes goes through his head he hears Roger arguing with someone. The man of Japanese descent standing next a British woman.
Roger: You can’t blame me for you getting lost Yuri.
Yuri: We got lost following your directions to the wrong state.
Roger: It isn’t my fault you arrived a day later than you said you would.
Yuri: I used that phone of yours when I arrived and told you we were here.
Alice :Both of you stop it now. What is import is that we are here Yuri.
At that moment Roger notices Johnny and brings him over.
Roger: Yuri and Alice this is Johnny Garland. The one I was talking to you about. Johnny Garland this is Yuri and Alice Hyuga.
Yuri and Johnny just stare at eachother until they get elbowed. Yuri by Alice and Johnny by Roger.
Alice: It is rude to stare you know.
Yuri: Sorry about kid. It is just this is the first time I have seen anyone brought back by the émigré before as themselves. Well close to it from what Roger tells me.
Johnny: This is also the first time I have meet someone who is titled god slayer.
The 2 laugh before Johnny puts out his hand for Yuri to shake it.
Yuri: Yuri Hyuga the god slayer and my wife Alice.
Johnny: Johnny Garland what is known as awaker. Nice to meet you.
