We have been talking about the idea of Bloody Roar coming back and how the characters should be changed if the game is rebooted. We will now turn are gaze to Cronos the only character with 2 beat forms. Ryo doesn’t count.
Cronus is the leader of an impendent nation as there prince. Despite being there prince he has many questions about the kingdom and his father. That is basically it since he only appears in Bloody Roar Xtreme. So in other words we have very little story to go on when it comes to Cronos.
As for his powers he is a Zoanthrope with 2 beast. The penguin which is his normal one and the phoenix which is his hyper beast form. Now lets be clear we don’t know why he has 2 forms and I think that we can use that for a story element with Tylon.
Tylon from this point can be looking into Cronos to see what the power of phoenix is about or be the reason why he has it. There research can be looking for power related or on the same level as Uranus. I am saying same level as we don’t know how powerful they are in comparison. So we can only guess.
But what about the reboot itself if it is a reboot. Well I don’t think he will make an appearance as a full character but I do see him being mentioned. Again Tylon is the big villain in first 2 games and so if they are looking into him like we discussed then he should be mentioned among there files for experiments.
If it is not a reboot and the story continues then we should have him looking what can be threatening his nation. Remember he is a prince after all and his people come first. What that threat is would depend on the story.
I am bring him into the next installment if it is a continuation as I think he was a cool character and we need to see more of him. But those are my thoughts. Let me know what you think as we await for this series to return..
