With the idea of Bloody Roar coming back we are talking about how characters have been changed or stay the same. We have been going over the returning cast from various games in the series. But we should remember that will not be all.
Remember that this is a fighting game and as such there will be new characters to be mixed in with the returning cast. Even if this a reboot it will then be treated similar to how Soul Calibur IV and Samurai Shodown were. Both were reboots bring back the old cast but they also introduced new characters all the same.
As such we will be getting new characters. Who and what they are we don’t know. On this blog we have discussed the idea of human factors being added to the game for story sake so you can see both sides of that. But as far as what actual new characters we will get that is something else.
With that being the case we need to keep in mind that there will be new blood as we look forward to see these familiar characters come back. I hope though that it is a small amount. Most fighting gamers want to see returning characters with a few new faces to spice things up. Seeing what happened in videogame history when the whole roaster is changed I hope that will be the same here.
But of course that is if we do get BR back as a PS5 title as we think and hope. But those are my thoughts let me know yours.
