The King Of Fighters A New Beginning ch 28.2 raw is out. With it being out I would like to touch on what we see. I am saying see as it is not translated yet so we will have to wait on that. But we will be talking about it and thus there will be spoilers so stop now if you do not want to be spoiled. AGAIN SPOIERS AHEAD.
Now we start off with Shermie showing how she handles Benimaru and Sylvie combined attack and just blocks it with ease as we go into Yashiro fight. Now similar to the others this 1 versus many but given Yashiro power it is justified. It is justifies that Goro, Kukri, King of Dinosaurs, Vice and Clark can take him is that they are barely getting anywhere.
Everything they throw at him he counters and for those hits that land he returns the favor with overwhelming power. Granted we do have mostly grappler going against the strongest grappler here with the exception of Kukri. Meaning that for the most part Yashiro is breaking holds and throws before the real damage is done and is ready to attack only to be stopped by the next fighter. With this we again see all the fighters are in the same boat and are not really getting anywhere despite there efforts.
We do see a chance in that as we have Robert, Gung and Luong help out but between them all Gung gets one hit in and it really doesn’t do much but try to set up a combination which fails. I mean both Kukri and Goro try using there strongest move in combination only for Yashiro to just blast right through them.
How this chapter ends is what makes it interesting. Now if you all saw the video done by NeoGeo Now Nabil you know that we see a white silhouette of Haohomaru appear to save Goro and Kukri from the dark Yashiro attack.
Now Nabil mentioned that this might be a sign that we might be getting a samurai Shodown team in KOF XV. This comes due to the fact SNK is saying this story is somewhat cannon. But due to it being somewhat cannon we don’t know what will be going from this into XV story mode. But where that goes we will have to wait for The king Of Fighters XV to see. For now to see where this story goes is something we can look forward to as it is look cool to see almost of SNK face off with the spirits set free from Verse.
