Tower Of God Ep 12 Underwater Hunting Part 2 is out and we will proceed to breakdown. Since this is a breakdown there will be spoilers. If you do not want to be spoiled please go to Crunchyroll.com and check out the episode there. AGAIN SPOILERS AHED.
Lets start with a recap. In order for Rachel to make up the tower Bam and her will have be eaten by the dolphin queen and spat out the top in there little bubble. In order to make sure that happens the group has to make sure there normal predators are kept at bay. While this is happening the assassin from the Jahad royal family has come to not only collect the 13 month weapons but also kill Anaak.
Now that we are caught up we can begin to look at what is happening as there is one thing that shakes things up and that is Yuri. As Shibisu is looking for Anak and Androssi he runs into the princess who is referred to as an imp for how she treats people. Now interesting enough he sense her before he sees her. This basically a little comical but it give Yuri a good entrance into the testing ground.
Now while Anak is looking at her Aunt about to take her head off we see Rachel and Bam noticing there hands glowing. Remember they are surrounded by Shinsu so anything can happen. But we get that quick glimpse before returning to the princess as they deal with Po. And would you know it Androssi was just faking it. The 2 then make there move and they do a good job putting Bo against the wall showing they can handle him.
Up top we have Paracul and Rak running from the Goblins. The issue here is that Paracul is more of a coward and helpless. Meaning Rak is basically the one doing all the running. The reason why that matter is that when Rak decides he is not the type to run away but fight. This matters as that means Paracul has no choice but to go along for the ride. A nice little bit of comedy.
We are then taken back to the fight between the assassin Bo and the princess. They have him on the ropes but despite there strength Androssi and Anak find themselves in trouble when Po counters. Remember with Bo we talking about wave controller. His skill in controlling Shinsu is what gives him the overall advantage in this fight. That is until Shibisu brings Yuri with him.
I don’t know who was throwing the rocks but i am guessing it was Shibisu. Now Yuri introduction comes with her telling Bo she will handle things from here. We are then sent back top side as Bam team holds off the Goblins and doing okay job but they will over run luckily Laru is there and he gets them out of harms away. Of course this is still because Nare still has his pillow held captive.
Before we think about that to long we return with Yuri as Shibisu collects the injured princess. Po however is not going to leave empty handed. Now remember Yuri is known for having a poor temper. We know this from Androssi and how were introduced to her in Ep 1 when to stop Bam she kicked him in the head. But when looking at her understand she is not like Anaak and Androssi. She is a ranker and a fisherman. As someone who has gotten up there in the tower she is not someone to mess with. Something Bo learn the hard way.
Now we see how strong Yuri is and it is strength to go along with her temper. Now with that stated we are sent top side to see Khun plan for getting the stripped pigs out of the way has worked basically Khun has used there tunnel system to force them into the worms of the goblins and thus the group can fight each other. As they fight though Khun says he will be taking a break as we see the one who has been traveling with Yuri has decided to pay him a visit.
Now to clear things up him and Khun are from the same clan but they are not siblings. (At least they don’t see eachother as such ) . Khun is there family name not first. (For those who don’t know Asia family name goes first then your name) The Khun we have been talking about is Khun Aguero Agnis. The one traveling with Yuri is Khun Hachuling who specialty is hacking as we see. Khun thinks about pulling out his knives but as we see there is a gap between rankers who climbed the tower and regulars. Meaning it is a good thing Khun didn’t pick a fight.
We then see the administrators watching on and it seems they sees Yuri as the intruder and not the one who was trying to kill Anaak and Androssi. But Khun Hachuling stops that. But that isn’t the only brake Yu Hang Sung tells them they cannot interfere during a test. After that he takes his leave.
As he Sung leaves we go back to the Khun. Basically Hachuling has come to make our Khun an offer. He offers to take him to see princess Maria. He ask why and gets the simplest answer in the Hachuling just wants to cause the family trouble. Remember we are talking about 2 outcast here.
We are then brought back to Yuri and Po. Yuri is making easy work as Po attacks do nothing to her and all she needs is a flick of her wrist to send him to the ground. But what is important is what happens with the Navigator and Sung. This conversation shows Sung planned up to this point so everything went as he wanted.
Keep in mind we are talking about Royal family matters. If Sung was to interfere with assassin he would be trouble. If he had helped he would most likely be implicated. Allowing Yuri to be the one to take care of everything so he doesn’t have to worry about getting involved is smart. Something the Navigator notices and sends Kurdan to hopefully stop Yuri before things get out of hand.
Yuri calms down and has Kurdan take out Po as Shibisu and Androssi say they are rebelling if that means to protect Anaak. We are then brought back to Khuns who turns down Hachuling offer. We then get an idea as to what Khun wants. He wants to be higher then just the family head( he is a revolutionary after all). Sounds small according to Hachuling but Hantz comes to break them up. His hunch was right about there was something off.
With Po out of it Yuri takes both Black March and Green April. Anaak tries to argue but Yuri says she can come up an claim it when she learns how to use it. Basically Yuri is taking everything and no one is foolish enough to try and stop her. We then learn that Po while dealing with the Princesses has sent the Bull after Bam. Not Rachel Bam as he is an irrgular.
This angers Yuri but Shibisu and the ladies argue to have faith in Bam. There conviction moves Yuri and instead of interfering she moves on to leave the testing ground after givign Shibsu a key to the 77th flor. As they leave we find out that Ryun is a navigator. But this revelation is held off as we see Bam try his best to deal with the Bull. He does but we then get the one thing that has been making the rounds as we see Rachel push Bam out. Now remember this is not the last episode we still have one more. How will the season end? We will have to see.
