New Game + Expo is tomorrow and many companies have news to share. One of them is SNK and today they teasing Samurai Shodown as we have discussed earlier. The buzz with this is that many see it as a guest character which opens the doors for many characters. Mitsurugi from Soul Calibur is on many minds as it would bring things full circle as Haohomaru was in his game so why not bring his samurai sword wielder in armor from the other game over. But will it be the only thing they have to show us is the big question.
You see what I am referring to is we might see more from SNK than just that. They will have 30 minutes according to schedule between them and the next company. With that much time we will be getting more than just a trailer for 1 character right.
Even if they stretch it out to 5 minutes that still leaves us some time to see other things. Maybe we will see more of the Metal Slug that they keep showing off and a teaser for The King Of Fighters XV. A teaser is the word with EVO Online around the corner we will probably see more as it is a fighting crowd and thus in many eyes a more fitting venue to show of KOF XV.
The issue with this is that we are talking about Evo Online and not EVO itself. Meaning everything will be streamed and that hasn’t been working to well with all tournaments. So it is a bit of wild card to see how that will play out. But that doesn’t mean that SNK won’t show it there it is just it is a wild card as we don’t know how well it will go.
Now I will admit I am hoping for a lot tomorrow. Samurai Shodown DLC as a guest characters sure. A little on Metal Slug new mobile game and console why not. But I do hope we get a teaser for KOF XV. A teaser of just Kyo and Iori fighting with a small thing at the end saying more at EVO if this happens.
