The King Of Fighters XV is something we are itching to see as we await a true trailer. As we wait though it seems we might have been given a hint as to what one of the teams will be. This is thanks to A New Beginning latest chapter so if you don’t want to be spoiled stop now. AGAIN SPOILERS AHEAD
In a new beginning we see Verse has released these shadows of dead bosses and they are too powerful for the current roaster to take on without help. This need for aid has lead to Nakoruru praying for that help and we get Haohmaru and Rimru. Both appear in the chapter to aid the others and given that a new beginning is meant to serve as the official story of sorts we might be seeing a hint as to what Nakoruru new team might look be.
This idea of a Samurai Shodown team is 1 based on the idea that SNK has been meaning to do one for awhile but didn’t have a chance too since KOF was a yearly release and they never got to it. (Well most of the time as people outside of Japan didn’t get it the same year it was released.) The other reason why we might be getting this all sam sho team is due to legal issues. There is word SNK has lost the rights to Love Heart and Mui mui games. As such this leaves are lady of nature looking for a new team.
Now the legal stuff is rumor as far as now but lets say it is true. Given the response of Samurai Shodown reboot SNK might say lets go for a full team? But with this in mind is this team it? We have to see as the battle with Verse and his shadow is continuing and for all we know we might see more of Nakoruru prayed for heroes comes forth. Maybe even the 2 lovely ladies who are absent in this series. We will see.
