Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition is a rumor that is circulating again as whispers of a port are making the rounds around the internet. Well as we hope this is true we know it will not just be a port but a special edition for the next gen.
First off many hope that we get Vergil with this. It is has been the main reason why we want a special edition. Not only that but we want him update with some new moves and his own missions. Given how DMC 5 ended with us seeing the brothers making there way to the demon tree base that could work.
But that isn’t all as we also want Lady and Trish playable. While that may take some work it is mainly due to fans wanting this to be like DMC 4 SE where the ladies got in on the action as well. And there are chances the ladies can have there own missions. Be that protecting Nico or something else.
We also want access to more customs. Since that is what happens when all games get update we want the same treatment here. But how many depends. We have rumors talking about DMC 4 customs for some while others are talking swim wear. I hope though the customs show loves to the whole cast and not just 1 or 2 as some rumors hint at.
Now what else? Turbo mode and other gameplay modes are thought to be in the cards. Next gen should be able to handle it and hopefully that is what happens. Keep in mind this list of hopefully wishes is based on rumors that DMC 5 SE is happening.
We don’t know if that is the case or if this is just a port of the game. We will have to see next month. The idea to see it next month as according rumors it will be unveiled during the Microsoft event. This happened for DMC 5 itself since Microsoft has marketing rights but remember it will be coming out for PS5 as well as Xbox Series X. If and when that news happens I will let you know as well as any other things they might throw in. Until then let me know what you think.
