Shadow Hearts is a beloved series with a fan base that is itching for to it for awhile. As we hope for it to return I push this question to you all. How would you sell bring back Shadow Hearts?

Lets say Studio Wild Rose gets the rights back. Even if they get the rights they would need the backing and how to sell it to the market. Well first lets talk about the backing. We have talked about this before but I would see Studio Wild Rose approach Sony (since most of the games were on Sony Ps2 and PS1 counting Koudelka) or Nintendo since they do more JRPG then Microsoft.
Now to get either company interested we will say it is an exclusive for that system. Keep in mind all game companies want to help indie company and that is what Wild Rose. With that in mind they might get support from the companies. So long as they can show there is a healthy fan base for it.
This is where marketing research comes in and gauging if people would even bye the game. As a fan I would like to say yes immediately as I see people on twitter and Facebook who would love the game to come back. But if we are talking to serious people we will need more than that to convince them. Keep in mind as you do this you will be hyping fans and gauging the videogame community as a whole. Mostly aiming for the RPG and JRPG crowd. But how would we go about this.
This would have to be in stages with a teaser trailer being last. Keep in mind the cheapest option are probably the best ways so maybe we should start off with images. As the JRPG scene is painted for the PlayStation 5 it would be nice as they start teased what is coming. Teasing with images as we have social media and we can use it to gauge people. Think about Yuri from with his look from Shadow Hearts 1 as a high def image done in unreal with the tag line the revival begins. It is a nice start and I think we should start in that fashion. I am saying fashion as he will be 1 of three with Alice and Albert being the other 2 as we see how people will react.
Now lets say this works. We get the okay and then we get the okay to do a trailer with Studio Wild Rose on board. To me the first trailer should be the train to show off the remake. I know we are arguing about remake or remaster right now but I am going to remake as there is a chance we will have to do this from scratch so we will go along with that.
Well for the train we will start on board as Alice reads what the papers have to say about the brutal killing of her father. As she reads we hear the solders talking as they did in the original opening. It basically plays out how you remember it. We follow Albert through the train for a bit as he takes out the guards until Yuri appears. Yuri takes out one monster and aims to take out Albert but is stopped and sent back. Unlike PS2 though with current gen I want us to see Yuri just fly back through the train no paining out until he stops. Of course we have him then get up and laugh up and that is where to me it should end.
Now from this we would watch people react to a next gen Shadow Hearts. I think they would be thrilled and psyched for this but we would have to see. But those are my thoughts. Let me know yours as we await for this beloved series to return.
