One Piece Live Action Teases Diverse Cast

As we look forward to the One Piece Live Action wondering what it will be like there is one thing we can expect and that is a diverse cast. Luffy crew is from all over the place so fans would like to see that when doing live action. Good news is Netflix says we are getting just that. A fan asked for a diverse cast reflecting on what Oda says the crew nationalities would be in real life. Netflix seems to have that in mind. Notice the flag in response to the question.

We don’t who they will put in these roles yet but it is good to see they know what we want to see in them.

Please, please have a diverse cast…doesn't at all have to be Nami, but would sincerely appreciate at least one Asian/Japanese actor in the main crew🙏

When asked about having a diverse cast, the official live action One Piece account responded back with the ethnicities that Oda himself decided on.
