There has been talk about Evil Dead Ash Williams getting into Mortal Kombat XI since talk of season 1 DLC. But the conversion seems to just keep going around and around as we try to figure out if he is in or not between Ed Boon the director and Bruce Campbell who played the character.
Finally it seems that is not happening at this point. Something Boon touched on during a pod cast where he was asked about the one armed demon killing hero. Of did he?
“I wish… there’s one I wish I could comment on. Yeah, you know what, perhaps in a future Vic’s Basement [the podcast they were on] we can have that conversation.” Ed Boon
As you can see the door is still open as it sounds they may still be looking into that. Will it ever work? I hope so as I can only imagine what Ash and Johnny conversations would be like.
