Boruto Ch 48 Time Limit Breakdown Koji Should Know Better

Boruto Ch 48 Time Limit is out and we will be breaking it down. Since this is a breakdown there will be spoilers so if you don’t want to be spoiled go over to Viz media and check out the latest chapter there. AGAIN SPOILERS AHEAD.

The last time we left off koji was able to do enough damage to Jigen that Isshiki had to take him over forcing him to absorb all of the karma body candidates back himself including Kawaki. So he cannot revive himself but now we have a full power Ōtsutsuki   to deal with and that is what we get a taste of in this chapter.

Isshiki now revived commends Amado for his planning. But as the fight goes on we get this weird conversation between Koji and Isshiki where Koji was told this might happened and beleive he can bring Isshiki down by himself. A Conversation that doesn’t make sense coming from the character.

I am saying it doesn’t make sense as Koji when Naruto and Sasuke faced Jigen firmly believed they couldn’t have beaten him. Keep in mind Sasuke and Naruto are the best answer the ninja world has to the Otsutsuki and given that both couldn’t stand up against Jigen who can only used but so much of Isshiki power it makes no sense as to why Koji believes he can do better.

Basically Koji is a Jiraya clone who has as we have seen improved so he can use sage mode without the frogs. But that will not help him since Jiraya with Sage mode couldn’t handle pain much less an Otsutsuki that many believe is the strongest we have seen yet. Something that Amado explains as he is made into a citizen of the leaf.

Now Amado once made a citizen explains that the collar around Shikda neck isn’t a bomb. And he explains he knew they would fall for it as it was to risky after seeing a similar one blow up how can they chance questioning him. The thing is though it is made clear that Amado plain involves the fact that Isshiki will be coming for Kawaki. He will be coming to the leaf to get him at any means fast since he only has so many days to live.

As we go back to the fight it clear that Koji lacks the power or the method on dealing with Isshiki. Now before anyone says anything yes we are talking about a clone of one of the pervy sage and it has to mean something that Obito was glad Kabuto didn’t get his body for his reincarnation justsu. But the was fear of skill not power and as we see as Koji goes through all of Jiyara moves he has no answer for either Isshiki or the ability to absorb chakra. Meaning Koji has nothing to use against this guy.

He does get the drop on him only to have him in a second crush Koji body. Isshiki the explains he can store what he shrinks meaning he can use his shrinking justu similar to Obito and put things in other dimension which explains how these objects he keeps shrinking and using just keep appearing. Koji realizing the difference now leaves the fight but in doing so leaves Isshiki to go after Kawaki.

The thing is though Boruto wants to fight along side Naruto and Sasuke. Now Boruto raises a good point in the fact that Sasuke and Naruto lost to Jigen. Isshiki now that he is revived is far more powerful. So how can they beat him when they couldn’t beat Jigen? Naruto just wants his son to listen to him where as Sasuke simply ask Boruto is ready to die for the village.

Harsh but it shows what they might have to do in order to win this battle. It is a line all the ninjas are ready to cross. Boruto being a kid isn’t ready to cross that line. As Boruto takes that in the whole village is put on notice as Isshiki arrives in a similar manner to Pain before he destroyed the village. Now i don’t know if he will do that off the bat unless he has another way to find kawaki. Remember Kawaki can’t heal himself so if Isshiki does that he might kill Kawaki to. So what he does is something we will have to see in ch 49.
