Suikoden fans were excited when they heard about there might being a new installment in the series. It seems we are getting one but not under the same name. Eiyuden Chronicle 100 Heroes is made by some Suikoden former developers. Which might explain the name. There will be a lot of characters in this game which again is no surprise given who made it. Take a look at the trailer below to get a taste of the battle system as well as more stuff related to the game.
“Eiyuden Chronicle is set in a world where rune-lenses’ magical power is greatly coveted. However, one of the country of Allraan’s nations, the Galdean Empire, has found a way to make rune-lenses even more devastating. A young man named Nowa finds a rune-lens when working with a Galdean Empire noble named Seign Kesling, and it in turn gets the two involved in a nation-wide war. People will then end up recruiting 100 heroes, developing a fortress, managing a guild, and fighting in turn-based battles with six characters you’ve recruited as you attempt to make a difference in the world.”
