According to one fan we have Sony is hinting that the PlayStation 5 will be backwards compatible with past consoles along with the PS4. The hints are said to be seen in Astro Playroom demo shown during summer games fest.
What the developer calls a look back at the console history the reddit user Tulipanzo this is the hint. One of the worlds according to Tulipanzo seems to express backwards compatibility through all the prior consoles. Again this is rumor as have no proof if Tulipanzo is right or wrong as this according to developer is just meant to be a look at the past.
