Now we have mentioned the Sony State Of Play before but keep in mind this rumor has a lot being announced in it. Besides SNK games there is a lot here to talk about from announcements of games to the PS5 and learning it seems all there is about it.
Lets start with the PlayStation 5. According to the rumor this is where Sony will talk about backwards compatibility not only with the PS4 but with PS3, Ps2 and PS1. Basically a trailer that is 1 minute 50 seconds according to the rumor. A decent trailer to convey the message. And it is one people want to know for sure. No longer avoiding it by saying yes to PS4 but not answering about the others. Fans want to know and should since we are getting closer to when they have to decide what system to put money towards if they can.
Which is also hopeful that price will be talked about at this conference. When it comes down to next gen price is a something they know we want to talk about but are avoiding it. The rumor keep saying it is between 400 as some hope and 600 as many insiders believe it will be. We have no idea as Sony denies the high price tag but doesn’t talk about what the price actually is. This back leaves fans thinking it is what the insiders say but we don’t know.
Now games and this is where we get a little crazy. The game list here is expected and fans dream. On the expected side we have Sony getting a sit down with Nomura on Final Fantasy VII Remake part 2. You then have confirmation of God Of War sequel. This along with more on Miles Morales. Grand Turismo 7 and Ratchet is stuff we expect as they have been revealed and are coming to next gen let along PS5.
What is out there are the other games that on this list such Parasite Eve Remake, A Metal Gear Solid Collection minus MGSV and Silent Hill (which have been hearing about for awhile now ). While we have some we have been hearing about in the rumor mill we have others that sounds like fans wishing for these titles. To prove we have Vagrant Story 2 supposedly here. According to the trailer it will be the last one for the stream. A drop the mic moment will not suffice if this is true.
But all this combined with no official date has many questioning it. They are not questioning the state of play as Sony themselves have said they would have something in August so a State Of Play makes sense. But whether it is right on the content is make people doubt this news and putting as fake. Not only that but we still don’t have a date for this as we only hope it is August 5th or 6th as the rumors says. Rumors not actual news.
So is it real. The nature of a rumor is that you don’t know until the event comes up and you see for yourself what happens. But you let me know what you think about this.
