We still have much to learn about next gen games. One thing is price and while we expect it to stay the same some are showing it will not such as Take Two which has one of the games for next gen coming out at $70. Something that none of us are looking forward to paying. But while the argument against the price boast saying the market will decide if that is the price Take Two Ceo says not all games will be $70.
“We’re definitely announcing pricing on a title by title basis. I would just observe, there hasn’t been a frontline price increase for a very long time, although costs have increased significantly. But most importantly, we believe we’re delivering the highest quality titles in the business.” CEO Strauss Zelnick
To Strauss point not all games now are 60 when as some are 40. But high price games which make up the big names you normally hear about fetch top dollar. To many that top dollar being 70 is a big to high. But what do you think. Let me know.
