The King of Fighters XV is something SNK fans want to see. We want to see the trailer for how the game will look and we have been waiting awhile. As summer is winding down many are thinking the next chance to see the trailer is at the Tokyo Game Show Online. Given that it is a big convention for videogames it makes sense that we would see the game there. Some would hope sooner like me but that is the way things are shaping up.
But if it is there what do we want to see that would leave satisfied? Will a cg movie showing Kyo and Iori fighting with the other mains be good enough for fans? Or will we only be happy with seeing gameplay? I would say a little bit of both for me.
This is the first trailer so don’t expect everything. The thing about is we have been waiting awhile and we would like to see more than just an intro. Again as I have said nothing to crazy. We just want to see some actual gameplay trailer. Since they are play testing we hope SNK has that for us but we will see have to see.
Now this is a hope. A hope as we don’t know who will be there at the event. That should change shortly as we get closer to the event. With that information we will see if SNK will be there. If they are not there some are thinking we might get something at the end of the year. The only issue with that to me is that then we will see that this isn’t an issue as to looking for the right place to show there game. That too me will show that they needed more time as that would most likely mean they would do there own event which fans have been asking them to do to talk about the game for awhile now.
So far we believe COVID impact on SNK is in delaying the game to next year. We assume that SNK has not yet said it. But with that being the case this might not be a news delay in being worried about public response but the development for XV maybe heavily effected by this. We don’t know and we can only hope not.
As such I hope we see again sooner then later and if not before then at Tokyo Game Show Online. But those are my thoughts let me know yours as we look forward to see what SNK has for KOF XV.
