The King Of Fighters A New beginning ch 31 is out. The new chapter is basically a collection of the endings between three of the teams. Invitation, Ikari and China. Invitation is being put here to show the important information that came out of it which was Ash return as many fans were asking for the trickster. We also see Ikari assess what happened as well as Ash return. At the same time no one knows who he is.
This makes sense a little bit as we are still trying to see how SNK handle Ash return and how the event of XIII will play out but these 2 chapters are meant mainly to show us the out come of the tournament on a large scale.
But the fact his name is there or is appearing show that maybe the time being erased is being undone. Not to sure but we will have to wait and see with XV how this is handled with Ash himself. But the China team is also shown and it shows them taken in what happened with Shun learning a little control.
In the arcade mode for XIV we got an idea Shun was worried about losing his control so I am thankful we saw it here in the manga to give us an idea as to what that is. But interestingly enough we don’t get the other part of this arcade mode ending in the manga.
We don’t see Tung thinking back and worrying who will carry his mantle. It is important as it was teased that one of his students was brought back by Verse. To fans we thought it was Jeff but again we are not sure.
And it wit the way that Kodansha did this it sums up how the whole thing has felt to me. It gave us more detail but at the and emphasis as we met enemies past as Verse will be allowing them to be threats once more. But what does that mean going forward for SNK with Shun arc is not made any more clearer by the manga.
But it was still a good series and I hope to see the story flesh out some what like this for XV and beyond. It was a nice and well done. But let me know what you think as we await for KOF XV.
