Big news Shenmue fans. Shenmue is getting an anime. The anime will be coming to us through Crunchyroll and Adult Swim. So yes it will be on Toonami but no word on when. Right now we are looking at 13 episodes with Yu Suzuki the series creator as producer.
As for the animation we have Telecom Animation Film Studios and Sola Entertainment. You can see a poster below showing off the main Ryo as we await for more news.
