We learned over the summer that Ono will be leaving Capcom. In serval days it will be his last day. As such Ono has prepared a good bye statement for all the good times.

Within several days, I will officially leave Capcom. I understand it’s standard for a general employee to make a resignation announcement AFTER the fact. Capcom has agreed that I am allowed to make the announcement approximately one month prior to my actual last day at the company.
I am truly grateful that the company gave me a chance to spend the time with many Street Fighter fans while I am still with Capcom. Also, I was able to reach out to those individuals and companies I’ve worked with closely.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to reach out to all the people I’ve worked with in the past,but I’d like to take this opportunity to show my gratitude to them. Thank you very much to All World Warriors.
I look forward to meeting you all again someday, somewhere around the globe.
