We all want The King Of Fighters XV to be unveiled in a true trailer. But we don’t know when. September looks like the month to get the news we if you are SNK fan. Is this fan hope or is there something to this? Lets talk about it.
If you don’t know it has been a year since KOF XV was announced at EVO 2019. A full year and we have not gotten official news since the logo was revealed. In the wake of SNK silence we have had a lot of rumors (a lot) as we have online events come and go with SNK not showing any sight of KOF XV. Despite hearing things about Samuria Shodown here and there.
Now we are in September and many say this the month. Mainly because of TGS Online. Now yes we know SNK is officially listed as part of the event. But just like 2018 we are hoping SNK might show KOF XV during Tencent reveal like they did with Sony. Tencent does own a bit of the SNK now so why not.
But that is not the only event in the works that KOF XV can appear at. Game Live Japan is another. Now we still don’t know the line up for this event but it will be taking place the same time as TGS. To some it makes more sense as it is the type of expo SNK would unveil something but again we don’t know so we will have to wait and see.

Another possibility comes with the PlayStation 5 showcase. Basically some are hoping that SNK might be able to show off the game at Sony event. Since Sony helped with kof xiv and Samurai Shodown why not. I cannot say how possible that is since all we know very little about the event with many people guessing what will be in it. the goods news about this one is it is going down this week so we will learn quickly if KOF XV is there or not. This uncertainty also goes into what system the game will be on. We thought PS4 but it might have been moved to next gen. We don’t know.
