Okay so Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition trailer is out and people are breaking it down. Devil Never Cry is one of those people who admitted he knew this was thing but because of NDA (non disclosure agreement) he couldn’t talk goes over the trailer.
But now he is breaking things going form the trailer and seeing basically my small compliant and that this looks like DMC 4 SE where Vergil was playable but he has no story other than the extra opening and ending cutscene. Fans were hoping that maybe Vergil will get his own devil arms and mission to show us how the brother fight to the tree rout would go but that doesn’t seem to be a the case. At the same time he does have more cut scenes than just that so we might need to see where this goes before passing judgement.
Gameplay wise it is all focus Vergil with the yamato and his illusions as we see him go to town. Devil notes the moves new old as we walk through them as well as a little treat. Basically his ability to turn into V to summon familiars I find interesting. As it shows that V play style might be something they allow Vergil to keep to change things up.
