Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition was at Tokyo Game Show Online and for the most part they went over what we knew. But there are some things that were shown that were new that you might have missed that thankfully Devil Never Cry pointed out.
This comes to 2 things that are big for those who are only focused on Vergil. 1st lets talk about the tweet that Matt posted talking about the game and that they won’t be showing much. What I missed is Matt said they would not go over Vergil weapons. Now this could be a typing error but when people pointed out Matt liked the suggestion which brings to question will Vergil have more than just Yamato as we have been seeing?
The 2nd is the 10 seconds of gameplay we were shown of Vergil. There is a moment where Vergil glows blue and we see him starting having a shadow effect when he moves. This might be the concentration system. Basically the system Vergil had in DMC 4 SE which reward you for being stylish by allowing you access to more moves. This makes sense given that DMC 5 gave Dante his style system just upgraded so why not do the same for Vergil. With that said we might of also gotten to see one new move where Vergil slashes at enemies holding them in place before they are pushed forward from the damage kicking in later.
A few things and hopefully we learn more about it soon but tell me your thoughts.
