The God Of High School Ep 13 God/God Breakdown

The God Of High School Ep 13 God/God is out and we will be breaking it down. Since this is a breakdown there will be spoilers. If you do not want to be spoiled stop now and go check it out the this episode as well past episodes over at Crunchyroll.com. AGAIN SPOILERS AHEAD.

So in ep 13 we see the person who wound up with the key that everyone has been fighting for is Jagel who has now been given a great amount of power. Given they are closest Mori, Dwei and Maria have to deal with him and there is little they can do.

Again they do try but keep in mind 1 you are looking at fighters who are still trying to fully understand there own newly awakened abilities  and 2 they are still warn out from the previous fights so far. Put that up against someone who is now at a new level of power they have never seen before and what you get is a one way fight.

This changes when Dwei gets hit as it is enough to cause Mori to awaken which seems as though has been trying to do since the start of the episode as he keeps getting images flooding into his head. Once awakened we see everyone explain that he is the monkey king aka son goku. They don’t say Goku but he is the monkey king and thus it is him plus the staff is really his thing.

Now with this power boost Mori takes out all of Jegan monsters easily and begins to work on him with very little stopping him. Now with that said he does begin to do something interesting in regard to finishing the fight as he begins to call down lightning until Jegan is down. I  have never seen Son Goku inspired characters do that but this might just be for him.

Now this takes Jegan out seperating him from the Key but it doesn’t take out the main problem as it seems his greed that Nox gave him goes out of control turning him into a monster. At this point Mori tries to call back his staff only to have it not work and just as he is attacked Llpyo comes in and saves him. Mori tries to lecture him but Llpyo says you should rely on your friends more as you are not fighting this alone.

Now from here they all begin to work taking out the greed until it is all gone. Seeing this happen Mandeok and Nox leave. Now interesting enough llpyo tries to help Jegan but Jegan tosses it away as he doesn’t need help from anyone and is then consumed by the greed but that is not the only thing.

Basically Bora woke up Kim Ungnyeo who was a member of the six and the way they were going to grant everyone wishes for the tournament. The issue is she did so 15 days too early. With that said this woman is a trip as she basically answer Mori question about who is she by kicking him in the face.

Now Ungeyeo keeps calling Mori a monkey and said he has matured meaning she knows him but how is not said. Now she does use her power to heal which turns her into a kid. A kid but the personality is still there. Now all this takes Mori out as he is exhausted. During this time Ungnyeo explains a few things.

Basically the key is able to allow a human to take down a god as normally they are not able to do so. This explain what Mujin was saying that Mandeok shouldn’t come into contact with it. At the same time Llpyo as the key guardian must now collect it understanding that the key will give those who come into contact power. So now Llpyo is on the move.

Now it didn’t stop there as Ungeyo explained when Mori would wake up and that his memory are sealed. Now this normally happens to Goku inspidered characters as there memories are either lost with DBZ case or sealed in Saiyukis. Now in order to get them back Mori has to go back home to China to get them which brings Dwei and Maria with him to learn more about him. This is there journey as we see both the commitee lead by Mujin and nox lead by Mandeok beign to make there own moves. What these moves will be end up as is something we will have to wait and see. But that is it for now let me know what your thoughts are as we await season 2 and where is Taejin.
