Bungou Stray Dogs Beast Ch 7 Obstacle Of Ideas is out and we will be breaking it down. Since this is a breakdown there will be spoilers. If you do not want to be spoiled please stop now and go check out the chapter and please support the official release. AGAIN SPOILERS AHEAD.
So a quick recap since it has been awhile. The roles here for Atsushi and Akutagawa have been switched along with Dazai being in charge of the port mafia as well as Oda being alive. Akutagawa is looking for his sister so he thought he can join the armed detective agency but Rampo who has figured out where she is will only help him if he gets a punch card filled out by the numerous members. Now it is Doppo turn.
To Doppo he sees Akutagawa as someone who can help in force laws to make the Detective agency more orderly. Keep in mind it isn’t as though they are completely out of control. The thing is it is Doppo who is the man who lives by a set of rules at all times compared to everyone else who is by far more lose then he is.
Now if you are a fan you kind of know where this going. If not we have the most strict member of the agency trying to make the vicious new member of the agency do what he wants in order to make everyone follow his tune. Ya it doesn’t work. Basically Akutagawa takes anything Doppo tells him to an extreme that not event he is prepared for from talking to kids and adults which he treats as though he is ready to kill them when all he is supposed to do is talk to them nicely. To even when he filling paper work where goes nuts.
Now to Doppo he doens’t understand why this is happening. He takes how well Akutagawa was with Kenji as him listening to him but to Akutagawa defense he was asked to do different task dealing with a different person. As such since we are in a different situation it is understandable. But to needless to say he is not on the disciplinary committee after that.
With that being said there is one thing he has in common with the others in that Yosano. Remember she can heal but only after inflicting you with large amount of pain. So it is understandable. Especially considering she wanted to do this 40 times.
Now Doppo being himself is asking what about his task and Akutagawa said he already took care of it. Basically lookin for kidnappers on the most wanted list which he found and brought them in alive. Again this is Akutagawa even if he is in a different role keep in mind it is still the same person. So by all accounts these people should be dead but they are very much alive.
Now this leaves to Oda once again training Akutagawa. This is a nice training as but also the safest since Akutagawa ability personality makes him so vicious he probably kill anyone but Oda flawless allows him to be multiple steps ahead of Akutagawa. (I still don’t know how his bullets which are normal are standing bullets against his Bashomon which can go through steel. But that is an argument for another day. )
Now Akutagawa has to earn Oda stamp as well as but his task might be the most annoying. Why do I say that? Well do you remember the kids from the 2nd season that Oda was taking care off. Well they are back and guess who is baby sitting while Oda is away? Something Akutagawa is not thrilled with to say the least. But that is where end the chapter with him more less at there mercy.
