First off Studio Wild Rose has a graphic novel out. It has been out since September but news has come out since it is mentioned on twitter by one of the artist of Studio Wild Rose. Since it is made by the Shadow Hearts crew you can guess the subject. Super natural with detective stories and other phenomenon all wrapped into on. Sadly there are no plans to translate at this time so we will have to wait to see how that goes but I will post the translations from the post on the site blog about the project below.

“It’s been six months since the last update, but I’ve updated my company’s blog for the first time in a long time.
From a confidentiality point of view, I don’t usually talk about the projects I’m involved in, but I’m thinking about sending out about our activities as much as I can, and this is part of it. Then, I will talk while quoting a part from the aftering of the novels of the new book “The Hundred Stories of The Katsuragoyama Detective Company”.
This book was released on September 19th, but many people have already read it, and I and Kato are very grateful.
It was a new book after a long time, and when I checked it, it had been four years since Grimoir 4 of the masterpiece.

This work is the one that I wrote little by little in between work while self-exclusion is called out in the corona. It finally came into shape. Speaking of the contents, it is finished in a mix of detective stories that I have always wanted to write and my favorite occult, youkai, and super phenomena.
Speaking of detectives, I have been involved in a novel game called “Inu-eagle” released by Cyberd Co., Ltd. a few years ago.
At that time, I was mainly looking at character settings and so on, and I didn’t have the opportunity to think directly about the story or write scenarios. So, this time I’m going to think about what I should do if I’m going to create a detective story, and I’d like to write it as much as I want.
This book also contains illustrations of the main character by Mr. Kato.
The heroine Noai (Noah) was designed by Non-san and Rena Nonen, and Akira was modeled after Hiroomi Tosaka. Kintaro’s image was originally Mr. Akiaki Haramoto, but when it was finished, he became Mr. Kotaro Yoshida, who was a little older. This is a good taste.
Katsuragoyama Detective Company Hyakugatari is a story about Noai, who has a strong inspiration while being a sober otaku girl, and a ghost who has high physical abilities but is not good at ghosts, but challenges a mysterious incident with two tripods.

I’ve only written one book yet, but the heroine, Noai, has become an unexpectedly new character, and I want to continue to do so in the future.

One more. I tried something new in this work separately from the content, and it was to completely migrate the Kindle production environment from the previous Windows to the Mac.
I used to write using Just System’s “Iktaro” God software, but from this work, I did ideas and outlines in Evernote, I wrote drafts (horizontal writing) in CotEditor, and I did every thing from converting to vertical writing to guessing and swinging in Pages.
The data output of the final .epub file is also Pages.
Well, pages powered up with vertical writing, really great.
It was a breakthrough for me, and it was very important that I was able to complete the start to the goal with only a Mac. If you love Macs and want to publish novels electronicly on Kindle, you’re in a good environment, so give it a try!
Finally, I think that everyone is probably noticed, but the author’s name of this work is “Matsuzo 1 Machida”. To tell the truth, this is the one that I have been thinking about for a long time if there is not a good pen name for writing a novel.
I write “Ichin machida” and read “Ichoda”.
By the way, if it is written in Roman letters, it will be “Itchoda”.
Why don’t you just put one on your head? Moe daughter. Of the “. What’s that? There may be a lot of people who want to tsukkomi, but that’s right.
However, it is said that I machida is one of the long-last names that have existed since the Wardering States period. Amazing isn’t it.

みなさん、こんばんは。
前回の更新から実に半年も経ってしまいましたが、久々に会社のブログを更新しました。
機密性の観点により普段関わっているプロジェクトについて発言することはないのですが、できる範囲で自分たちの活動について発信して行ければと考えていまして、今回もその一端となります。それでは、新刊のノベルズ『葛籠山探偵社百物語』のあとがきから一部を引用しつつお話しさせていただきます。
9/19にリリースした本書ですが、すでに多くの方々が読んでくださり、大変ありがたく自分も加藤も感謝感激しています。
めちゃくちゃ久しぶりの新刊でして、確認してみたら、圧巻のグリモアール４ からまる四年も経っていました。
待っていてくださった方々、本当にごめんなさい。そして、ありがとう。
本作はコロナで自粛が叫ばれる中、仕事の合間に少しずつ書いていたものです。それがようやく形になりました。内容はと言えば、ずっと書きたかった探偵小説と大好きなオカルト・妖怪・超常現象をミックスしたものに仕上がっています。
探偵ものと言えば、かれこれ数年前になりますが株式会社サイバード様よりリリースされた「イヌワシ」というノベルゲームに携わらせていただいたことがあります。
その時はキャラクター設定などを主に見ていて、直接ストーリーを考えたりシナリオを書く機会はありませんでした。ですので、今回は自分が探偵物語を創るならどうしようかなと構想をめぐらし、思い切り好き勝手に書いてみたしだいです。
本書には加藤さんによるメインキャラのイラストも入っています。
ヒロインの乃愛（ノア）はのんさんこと能年玲奈さんを、叡（アキラ）は登坂弘臣さんをモデルに作画してもらいました。金太郎のイメージは当初柄本明さんだったんですが、出来上がったら少し老けた吉田鋼太郎さんになってました。これはこれでいい味出てます。
葛籠山探偵社百物語は、地味なオタク女子ながら強い霊感を持つ乃愛と、身体能力は高いけどおばけがからっきしダメな叡が二人三脚で怪事件に挑む物語です。

最終的な.epub ファイルのデータ出力も Pages です。
うーん、縦書き機能がついてパワーアップした Pages 、実に素晴らしい。

最後に、多分みなさん気がついていると思うのですが、本作は著者名が「一町田 松三」になっています。実はこれ、以前から小説を書くときのために良いペンネームがないかなとずっと考えていたものなんです。
「一町田」と書いて「いっちょうだ」と読みます。
ちなみにローマ字表記だと「Itchoda」となります。
なんだよ頭に一を付けただけじゃないか！ モー娘。の「。」かよ？ とツッコミたくなる方も大勢いらっしゃるかもしれませんが、そのとおりです。
でも一町田は戦国時代から実在する由緒ある苗字のひとつだそうです。すごいでしょ。
この苗字を見つけたとき、雷に打たれたような衝撃を受けたのは事実です。
もっとも普段から「まつぞーさん」と呼ばれる機会が多いので、ペンネームを使い始めても自分的にはあんまり変わった感じはしないのですが、これからは創作用に大事に使って行きたいと考えています。
